SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 19, 1972
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a special
session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above
date at 5:00 p.m.

Councilmen Byork, Liewer, Morris, Rowe and Stevens
j answered the roll call.
The Mayor announced that the purpose of the meeting was
to discuss the Long Beach Boulevard Project - Central
Business District development.
Mr. Bob Oliver, Mr. Bob McClelland and other associates
of Mr. Oliver were present. A calendar of events
relative to the project occuring since February 2, 1972,
was presented by the City Manager, and maps of the
area were provided. Plot plans of Area 1 (Montgomery
Ward), Area 2 and Area 3 were displayed.
The various proposals were discussed informally with
the concensus of the Council appearing to be that
Phase 2 of the project should not be delayed, and
that a master plan for the entire area should be
developed. Mr. Oliver suggested that if it would
be agreeable to the Council, additional studies
would be made to provide a master plan which might
provide a better solution to development of the
area.
--, Mr. Oliver was asked to provide a master plan and
meet with the Council again in 30 days.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Council-
man Liewer, and carried, that the meeting be adjourned.
