ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 25, 1972
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular meeting in the City Hall, 11330
Bulbs Road, on above date at 2:00 p.m.
Mayor Morris in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Liewer, Morris, Rowe and Stevens
answered the roll call.
It was moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded by Council-
man Stevens, that the meeting be adjourned to executive
session.
Upon the arrival of Supervisor Kenneth Hahn and
members of his staff, the meeting was again called to
order.
$500,000 Mr. Hahn addressed the Council to present a check from
HTC funds forthe County of Los Angeles Highways Through Cities Fund
L.B. Blvd. in the amount of $500,000. The money is to be used
project for the Long Beach Boulevard widening project. Members
of the Council expressed appreciation for the County's
assistance in funding this project.
The meeting was again adjourned to executive session.
Following the executive session, the Mayor called the
meeting to order.
Staff Sec. It was moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded by Council-
position man Rowe , and carried, that the Council concur in the
eliminated recommendation of the Personnel Board and eliminate
the position of Staff Secretary.
It was moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded by Council-
man Byork, and carried, that the Personnel Board be
asked to make a further study and recommendation
concerning the part of their recommendation relative
to the classification of Clerk-Typist.
It was moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded by Council-
man Byork, and carried, that the meeting be adjourned
to November 8, 1972, at 7:00 p.m.
