ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 20, 1973
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis,
Road, on above date at 7:00 p.m.
Mayor Morris in the chair.
Councilman Byork, Liewer, Morris and Rowe answered. the
"~ roll call. Councilman Stevens was absent.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Council-
man Morris, and carried, that Councilman Stevens'
absence be excused.
Items appearing on the agenda for the regular meeting
of February 20, 1973, were discusseda .The possibility
of having an ad,~ourned meeting early in the morning
preceding a regular Council meeting was discussed,
with no action being takeno
It was moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded. by
Councilman Morris, and carried, that the meeting
be adjourned.

The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a
regular session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis
Road, on above date at 7:30 p.m.
Mayor Morris in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Morris, and Rowe answered the
roll call. Councilmen Liewer and Stevens were
absent.
Leaders and members of Cub Scout Pack 60-C were
introduced and led the Pledge of Allegianceo
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Council-
man Rowe,. and carried, that the absence of Councilmen
Liewer and Stevens be excused.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Council-
man Rowe, and carried, that the minutes of the
adjourned regular meeting_of February 6, 1973, and
the regular meeting of February 6, 1973, be approved
as written.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Council-
man Rowe, and carried, that a proclamation be authorized
designating the week of February 19 to 26 as "Junior
Catholic Daughters Week."
PUBLIC HEARING
Hearing - The Mayor announced that the time had arrived for

Councilman Rowe, seconded by Councilman Byork, and
carried, that the hearing be closed.

The Manager reported on the change in discretionary
holiday benefits proposed by the City Council at
the previous meeting, and recommended that the
Council direct the staff to consider mandatory-
discretionary holidays during meet and confer salary
negotiationso

man Byork, and carried, that the Council. concur in
the Manager's recommendation.
A report on installation of four-way stop signs
at Spruce Street and Platt Avenue instead of making
Spruce a one-way street southbound was presentedo
As the fol~r-way stop appears to have .solved the
traffic problem at that intersection, it was recommended
that the previous action be rescinded and that a f'ol,~r-
way stop be authorized by adoption of RESOLUTION N0.
