The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a
special session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road,
~ on above date at 9:00 a.m.
Mayor Morris in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Liewer, Morris, Rowe and Stevens
answered the roll call.
Mayor Morris announced that the purpose of the
special meeting was to hold an executive session to
discuss personnel matters.
It was moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded by
Councilman Stevens, and carried, that the meeting be
adjourned to executive session.
Following the executive session, the meeting was
called to order and it was moved by Councilman Liewer,
seconded by Councilman Stevens, that Miss Maureen
Cassingham be employed as Assistant City. Manager,
effective April 2, 1973, at the salary of $1,000
per month.
Councilman Rowe pointed out that the position is an
appointive one, and in response to a question from
Councilman Byork, the City Manager said that Miss "
Cassingham's duties and responsibilities will be
those within the City Manager's office; that the
""", areas of personnel and purchasing will be stressed,
and that he will furnish the Council with a written
review of the duties and responsibilities of the
,~ Assistant City Manager.

It was moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded by Council-
man Stevens, and carried, that the meeting be adjourned.
