ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MAY 29, 1973
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis
Road, on above date at 7:30 p.m.
Mayor Byork in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Liewer, Morris, Rowe and Stevens
answered the roll call.
It was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded by Councilman
Liewer, and carried, that the meeting recess to 7:35 p.m.
Following the recess, the meeting was called to order.
MANAGEMENT STUDIES AND REPORTS
Hearing set - Pursuant to a report and recommendation by the City Manager
Open Space ,
it was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded by Councilman
Impact etc. Rowe, and carried, that a public hearing on the pro osed
;6/19/73 Open Space and Conservation Element to the General Plan
be set for June 19, 1973, at 7:30 p.m.
~S• 73-~3 Upon receipt from the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency of a
Joint hearing redevelopment plan for Redevelopment Project Area "A" and
'for project a report thereon, RESOLUTION N0. 73-43 entitled: "A
area "A" RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
CALLING FOR A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR PROJECT AREA 'A' AND ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORT THEREFOR, SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE THEREOF, AND
APPROVING THE NOTICE THEREOF," was presented. It was
moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded by Councilman Stevens,
that Resolution No. 73-~3 be adopted.

Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Liewer, Morris, Rowe, Stevens.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
FINANCE REPORT
Res. 73-44 RESOLUTION N0. 73-44 entitled: "RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
Demands OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS
PRESENTED AND ORDERING EARRANTS DRAWN THEREFOR," was
presented. It was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded
by Councilman Liewer, that Resolution No. 73-44 be adopted.
Roll Call:
Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Liewer, Morris, Rowe, Stevens.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
CITY CLERK'S AGENDA
Claims for It was moved by Councilman Stevens, seconded by Councilman
damage denied Liewer, and carried, that the claims for damage filed by
Godley & John Godley and Ernest Brundige be denied and referred to
Brundige the City's insurance carrier.
It was moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded by Councilman
Stevens, and carried, that the meeting adjourn to executive
session for personnel matters. The City Clerk was excused
from the reaminder of the meeting and the Mayor appointed
Councilman Liewer City Clerk pro tempore.

Following the executive session, the meeting was called Adjourn to
to order. It was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded 6/5/73 at
by Councilman Liewer, and carried, that the meeting 7 p.m.
adjourn to June 5, 1973, at 7 p.m.
