Mr. Nick York addressed the Council to request
clarification of the proposed rate increase.
Councilman Malchow commented that in speaking to
Mr. Ballard of Southeast Taxi Co. earlier, he had
indicated he would be willing to lower rates if
fuel costs went down.

FOR PUBLIC WORKS," was presented by the City Manager
with the recommendation that it be adopted.
It was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded by
Councilman Liewer, that Resolution No. 74-12 be
adopted.

A report on proposed revision of dance floor area
requirements in places conducting public dancing
was presented by the City Manager. He recommended
Council consideration of an ordinance entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING SUBSECTION (a) (5) OF SECTION
4-23 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD RELATING
TO REGULATIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF DANCES." It

In response to a request from the Real. Estate Report x^e Real:,
Practices Commission, the City Manager recommended Estate Commission
that the Council consider authorizing the City need for City Att
Attorney to be present at a public hearing which
the Commission will conduct February 27, 1974, regular
meeting.
It was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded by
Councilman Liewer, that the request be approved.
