ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING JUNE 17, 1974
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330
Bullis Road, on above date at 7:00 p.m.
Mayor Liewer in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Green, LIewer an d Rowe answered
the roll call. Councilman Morris was absent.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Council-
man Green, and carried, that Councilman Morris' absence
be excused.
Budget Study The City Manager reviewed the proposed budget for the
Planning Department (Account 1-110), and requested
the Council to make certain changes in their copies
of the proposed budget.
Councilman Morris arrived.
Budget proposals for the Planning Department, as previously
modified by the City Manager, were discussed with Mr.
Mel Rice, Assistant Planning Director. Progress of
the General Plan and its various elements were also
discussed with Mr. Rice.
Parks and Recreation Director Don Snavely presented
budget proposals for Recreation (Account No. 1-190),
Bateman Hall (Account No. 1-192), and the operations
portion of Parks & Grounds ( Account No. 1-195). The '""~
remaining protions of the Parks & Recreation Department
budget will be discussed at a subsequent meeting.
The meeting was adjourned to executive session for
personnel matters at 9:55 p.m. The City Clerk was
excused and Councilman Morris was appointed City
Clerk pro tempore. Following the executive session,
it was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Council-
man Green, and carried, that the meeting adjourn to
Tuesday, June 18, 1974, at 7:00 p.m.
