ADJOI7RN~ED REGULAR MEETING JUNE 28, 1974
The City Council of the City of LYnwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330
Bullis Road, on above date at 4:00 p.m.
Mayor Liewer in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Liewer, Morris, and Rowe answered
the roll call. Councilman Green was absent.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Council-
man Morris, and carried, that Councilman Green's
absence be excused.
Budget study Police Chief Darton presented budget proposals for
the Police Department (Account 1-140) and portions of
Traffic Safety relating to the Police Department.
Councilman Green arrived.
Among the proposals was the purchase of a police dog
for $4,000. After discussion of the proposal, Mayor
Liewer recommended that the $4,000 be retained in
the budget and a study be made on the purchase of a
dog.
Collection of ambulance bills and the present method
of accounting for equipment rental was discussed.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Council-
man Green, and carried, that the Council adjourn at
5:45 p.m. for an executive session relating to
personnel matters. The City Clerk was excused and
Councilman Morris was appointed City Clerk pro tempore.
Following the executive session, it was moved by
Councilman Rowe, seconded by Councilman Byork, and
carried, that the meeting adjourn at 5:55 p.m. to
July 2, 1974, at 7:00 p.m.
