ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 26 1974
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an adjourned
regular session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on
above date at 4:30 p.m.
Mayor pro tempore Green in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Green, Morris and .Rowe answered the roll
call.
Councilman Liewer was absent.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Councilman
Morris, and carried, that Councilman Liewer's absence be
excused.
The City Manager distributed copies of "Analysis of
Alternative Approaches For Providing Fire Service"
prepared by Andersen, Heiss & Hughes.
Councilman Liewer arrived.
Mr. Mark Briggs, of Sheehan & Associates, presented a
progress report on the grant application for funds under
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. Mr.
Briggs brought the Council up to date on meetings with
the Citizens' Advisory Board and members of the City
staff. He discussed the following specific subjects,
and answered questions from the Council: eligible and
ineligible activities under the Act, role of Los Angeles
County in funding, function of the Housing and Community
Development Board, Housing Assistance Plan,. Affirmative
Action Policy and Plan, A-95 review, environmental clearance,
and relocation.
r..,. Following Mr. Briggs presentation, it was moved by
Councilman Byork, seconded by Councilman Rowe, and
carried, that the meeting adjourn to December 3, 1874,
at 7 p.m.
