ADJOURNED REGULAR 1v1EETING JUNE 13 1y75
The city Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330
Bullis Road, on above date at 4:00 p.m,
Mayor Liewer in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Green, Liewer and Rowe answered the
roll call. Councilman Morris was absent.
Also present was City Manager Wright.
The Manager informed the Council of a correction in
the Police Department budget. The Secretary salary
in the Management proposal column was changed from
$12,144 to read $11,376.
The Manager also informed the Council of a change in
the Street Lighting Account (4-1~3-F-1) because of the
increased energy cost.
'Budget Study Chief Dayton rwiewed the Police Department budget
'Police Dept. (Account 1-140) . '1'he hiring freeze and
the hiring of three additional police cadets to act
as jailers.was discussed.
Councilman Morris arrived.
The Police Reserve program was discussed and it was
moved by Councilman Green, seconded by Councilman tsyork,
that all reserve officers be reimbursed $150 after they
have served one year.

Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Liewer, Morris, Rowe.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
The Capital Outlay budget was reviewed:
It was the consensus of the Council that the Police
Department budget be approved with the Police Reserve '
modification and the other modifications noted.
The meeting was adjourned to executive session. The
City Clerk was excused and Councilman Byork was appointed
City Clerk pro tempore.
Following the executive session, it was moved by
Councilman Green, seconded by Councilman Rowe, and carried,
that the meeting adjourn to June 1'(, 1975, at '(:00 p.m.
