SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On January 9, 2020, the City received a Grant from Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health in response
to the Mayor having participated in their leadership program. The Grant stipulated terms and conditions that
the Grantee (City of McCall) shall utilize Grant funds exclusively for the one of the following purposes:
charitable, educational, scientific or literary purpose (or some approved variation). Specifically, Grantee’s
purpose of Grant funding from the Foundation is for the support of two MOSS internships with the City of
McCall. The MOSS students have been selected: Anna Lindquist’s scope of work focuses on Greenhouse
Gas Inventory/Climate Action Plan and Casey O’Leary’s focuses on Urban Agriculture and Community
Food Systems.
The contract and internship scopes are attached and have been reviewed by the City Attorney.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health Funds Agreement with MOSS Internships, Anna
Lindquist and Casey O’Leary, and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
