A RESOLUTION FOR THE COMPLETION AND FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE
ORIGINAL TOWN URBANIZATION PROJECT — PHASE TWO, TIFFIN, IOWA —
CONTRACTOR — RATHJE CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, On June 12, 2023, the Project Engineer states the Project construction was
completed in general accordance with the approved Plans and Specifications on file
with the City of Tiffin, Iowa and placed into operation and recommends Final Payment
be made to the Contractor.
WHEREAS, the Original Town Urbanization Project — Phase Two is complete and
acceptable to the City of Tiffin,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
Original Town Urbanization Project — Phase Two is complete and acceptable to the City
of Tiffin and final payment shall be made to the Contractor.
On the 20th day of June, 2023, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2023-045, A RESOLUTION
FOR THE COMPLETION AND FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN
URBANIZATION PROJECT — PHASE TWO, TIFFIN, IOWA — CONTRACTOR —
RATHJE CONSTRUCTION and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Limkemann.
Ayes: Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2023-045, A RESOLUTION FOR THE COMPLETION
AND FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN URBANIZATION PROJECT —
PHASE TWO, TIFFIN, IOWA — CONTRACTOR — RATHJE CONSTRUCTION to be
adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 20th day of June, 2023.
