A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 2023-046 TO ADD LIEUTENANT TO THE
CITY OF TIFFIN FIRE DEPARTMENT STIPEND PROGRAM
Whereas, the Tiffin City Council approved a stipend program for the Tiffin Fire Department in
2021; and,
Whereas, the program was updated at the May 30, 2023, City Council Meeting to coincide
with the award of the SAFER grant to the Tiffin Fire Department; and,
Whereas, the Lieutenant Officer was inadvertently left off of the updated stipend program,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to amend and
approve the attached Tiffin Fire Department Stipend Program with the Lieutenant Officer
included.
On this 20th day of June, 2023, at the regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2023-046, A RESOLUTION TO
AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 2023-046 TO ADD LIEUTENANT TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN
FIRE DEPARTMENT STIPEND PROGRAM and made a motion for approval. The motion
was seconded by Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Orris, Olney, Havens, Schnedler, Limkemann.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2023-046, A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION
NO. 2023-046 TO ADD LIEUTENANT TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN FIRE DEPARTMENT
STIPEND PROGRAM to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereunto.
Passed by the City Council on the 20th day of June, 2023.
