ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MAY 25, 1976
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330
Bullis Road, on above date at 4:30 p.m.
Mayor Rowe in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins and Rowe answered
the roll call.
Councilman Morris was absent.
It was moved by Mayor Rowe, seconded by Councilman
Higgins, and carried, that the firm of Hill, Genson,
Even, Crandall & Wade be authorized to accept
service of process in the matter of Jones v. City of
Lynwood, et al.
The meeting was adjourned to executive session for
personnel matters.
Councilman Morris arrived during the executive session.
Following the executive session, it was moved by
Mayor Rowe, seconded by Councilman Morris, that the
City Clerk be appointed acting City Manager effective
June 3, 1976.
Roll Call:
Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Higgins, Morris, Rowe.
Noes: Councilman Green.
Absent: None.
It was moved by Councilman Higgins, seconded by
Councilman Rowe, and carried, that Michael Taft be
assigned to assist the City Clerk.
It was moved by Councilman Higgins, seconded by
Councilman Morris, and carried, that the City Clerk
be authorized to hire a temporary accounting clerk.
It was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded by
Councilman Byork, and carried, that the meeting
adjourn to Friday, May 28, 1976, at 5 p.m.
