ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MAY 28, 1976
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall,
11330 Bullis Road, on above date at 5 p.m.
Mayor Rowe in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris and Rowe
answered the roll call.
Mrs. Darlene B. Raat, Senior Consultant representing
Public Management Services, Inc., addressed the
Council to review the services the company can
provide in furnishing interim management personnel
and/or recruiting personnel. She presented
Mr. Bob Mitchell whose services are currently
available. Mr. Mitchell spoke briefly of his
previous assignments in municipal management and
responded to questions from the Council concerning
his qualifications. Mrs. Raat provided agreements
for interim City Management and personnel recruit-
ment for the Council's consideration.
The Municipal Employee Relations Officer informed
the City Council that The Peace Officers' Association
of Lynwood, Inc., having fulfilled the requirements
for formal recognition for the purpose of meeting and
conferring, have been recognized subject to the
Council's concurrence. It was moved by Councilman
Byork, seconded by Councilman Morris, and carried,
that the Council concur in granting the formal
recognition requested.
The meeting was adjourned to executive session for
'°"" matters of meeting and conferring. Following the
executive session, it was moved by Councilman Byork,
seconded by Councilman Morris, and carried, that the
meeting adjourn to June 1, 1976, at 7 p.m.
