ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING JUNE 11, 1976
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330
Bullis Road, on above date at 4:30 p.m.
Mayor Rowe in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris and Rowe
answered the roll call.
Mr. Lyle Cunningham, 630 West Dorty Road, Arcadia,
discussed the proposed agreement between Public
Management Services, Inc. and the City to provide
services for the recruitment of a City Manager.
Mr. Cunningham will meet with the City Council on
Friday, June 18, 1976, to discuss job specifications
and professional and personal qualifications required.
It was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded by
Councilman Green, that the City Council engage Public
Management Services to undertake recruitment of
candidates for the position of City Manager for the
City of Lynwood at a cost not to exceed $4,000.

Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris, Rowe.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
It was moved by Councilman Green, seconded by
Councilman Higgins, that the Mayor be authorized to
sign the agreement with Public Management Services.
Roll Call:
Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris, Rowe.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
Mr. Harry Johnston, representing the Chamber of Commerce,
discussed the budget with the City Council. The
elimination or modification of certain items in the
budget were also discussed.
It was moved by Councilman Higgins, seconded by
Councilman Morris, that the Council approve the Chamber
of Commerce budget for the 1976-77 fiscal year in the
amount of $27,175.

Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris.
Noes: Councilman Rowe.
Absent: None.
It was moved by Councilman Higgins, seconded by
Councilman Morris, that the City Council authorize the
Acting City Manager to purchase three used jeeps, either
from International Harvester or the Mosquito Abatement
District, for the lowest possible price.
Roll Call:
Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris, Rowe.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
The meeting was adjourned to executive session for matters
of meet and confer. Following the executive session, the
meeting was called to order.
It was moved by Councilman Rowe, seconded by Councilman
Byork, that the meeting adjourn to Tuesday, June 15, 1976,
