HomeMy Public PortalAboutM 1976-08-13 - CC.~ ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 13 1976 The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above date at 7 p.m. Mayor Rowe in the chair. Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris and Rowe answered the roll call. Also present was Acting City Manager Shepherd. Title 8 The City Council discussed the Police Department Arrests budget. Chief Darton responded to questions regarding recent Title 8 arrests. Councilman Green requested a repor~~ on delinquent ambulance accounts. In this connection, he also recommended that the Council prepare a letter of protest to the County Supervisor. Salary The City Council discussed the Fire Department budget. parity req. Mayor Rowe referred the matter of Chief Johnson's ref. to request for salary parity with the Police Department ACM to the Acting City Manager for a report and recommendation. The Council agreed that memberships, travel and meetings (Account No. 1-130) be placed under one account in the future rather than in departmental accounts. The City Council discussed the budgets for the City Manager, City Clerk and City Treasurer. The Council discussed the bid award to Berryman, Motile, Stephenson & Perry, for construction staking. It was moved by Mayor Rowe, seconded by Councilman Green, that no further action be taken on this subject. Roll Call: Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Morris and Rowe. Noes: Councilman Higgins. Absent: None.
