ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 8 1976
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330
Bullis Road, on above date at x+:30 p.m.
Mayor Rowe in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Higgins, Morris and Rowe answered
the roll call.
Councilman Green was absent.
Also present was Acting City Managrer Shepherd.
RESOLUTION N0. 76-81 entitled: "RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ALLOWING AND
APPROVING THE DEMANDS PRESENTED AND ORDERING
WARRANTS DRAWN THEREFOR." was presented. It was
moved by Councilman Morris, seconded by Councilman
Byork, that RESOLUTION N0. 76-81 be adopted.
Roll Call:
Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Higgins, Morris, Rowe.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Green.
The City Council discussed with Captain Ralston of
the Police Department the matter of the breakdown
of the accounting machine and subsequent inability
of the payroll department to prepare the checks in
a timely manner and the dissatisfaction being
expressed by members of the police department.
Councilman Green arrived.
The meeting was adjourned to executive session for
personnel matters. Following the executive session,
it was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by
Councilman Higgins, and carried, that the meeting
adjourn to Saturday, September 11, 1976 at 1 p.m.
