SPECIAL MEETING OCTOBER 27, 1976
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a special
session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above
date at 7:30 p.m.
Mayor Rowe in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris and Rowe ,...~,
answered the roll call.
Also present was Acting City Manager Shepherd.
The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting to be for
considering the adoption of a resolution authorizing the
City Treasurer to solicit a temporary loan and for
personnel matters.
Res.No. 76-91 The City Council was requested to authorize the City
Auth. City Treasurer to solicit a temporary loan of $400,000 by
Treasurer to adoption of RESOLUTION N0. 76-91 entitled: "A RESOLUTION
.Solicit Loan OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE
CITY TREASURER TO SOLICIT A TEMPORARY LOAN." Information
was presented indicating the total estimated expense
prior to receipt of the first property tax payment in
mid-December, the total revenue anticipated in November,
and the total of the certificate of deposit which will ,
mature in January, 1977. It was moved by Councilman
Morris, seconded by Councilman Higgins, that Resolution
No. 76-91 be adopted.

Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris, Rowe.

Absent: None.
The meeting was adjourned to executive session for

personnel matters.
The City Clerk was asked to place the matter of the
proposed acquisition of the old Library building on the
agenda for the November 2, 1976 meeting. She was also
asked to send a letter of thanks to the Mosquito Abatement
district for services performed on San Vincente Avenue.
Following the executive session, it was moved by
Councilman Byork, seconded by Councilman Green, and
carried, that the meeting be adjourned.
