ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 1, 1977
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an adjourned
regular session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on
above date at 5 p.m.
Mayor Rowe in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Green, Morris and Rowe answered the roll
call.
Councilman Higgins was absent.
Also present was City Manager Valliere.
PUBLIC HEARING
The Mayor announced that the time had arrived for public
hearing on the proposed use of Federal revenue-sharing
funds for fiscal year 1977-78.

The City Manager reported that notice of the public hearing,
a requirement of Federal rules and regulations governing
the use of revenue-sharing funds, had been published as
required and that the initial administrative hearing had
been held on June 13, 1977. The City Manager reviewed the
uses which can be made of revenue-sharing funds and stated
that the proposed budget provides for transfer of
$445,619 of revenue-sharing funds to the general fund for
public safety purposes.
The Mayor inquired if anyone present wished to be heard
relative to the proposed use of revenue-sharing funds. As
.~-- there was no response, the Mayor declared the hearing
closed.
Proposed increases and establishment of fees for the
following services were discussed with no action taken:
refuse disposal, water rates and sewer services.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Councilman
Higgins, and carried, that the meeting adjourn to
August 2, 1977 at 7 p.m.
