The Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood
met pursuant to add ournment at the above time
and place.
Present; Trustees Merrill, Beymer, White, Kerr
and Pettyerew.
Absent: None.
City Clerk and City Attorney present.
On motion the reading of the minutes of the
previous meeting was dispensed with.
It was moved that the cantraet submitted for
the purchase of safe, for the agreed price of
PURCHASE OF X250.40, from the Southern California Safe Company,
SAFT
payable X100.00 cash and the balance at the rate
of X50.40 per .month, b e approved, and the Presi-
dent of the Board, and City Clerk, authorized to
execute the same on behalf of the City.

Pettycrew.
Noes: None
City Attorney reported that he had taken up
the matter of collection of road funds to which
IN RE OBTAINING the City i s entitled, with County Auditor Payne,
ROAD FtTNDS FROM
Cf~1NTY and was informed by Mr. Payne that a suit is now
pending involving the rights of Municipalities to
such road funds, and that they could not be col-
lected from the County until such suit was de-
termined.
EMPLOYMENT OF Moved that the report of the Public Works
S TENOG RAPHPR
Committee as to employment of stenographer for

taking minutes and writing up same, be approved,
and that Miss laude Goforth be employed for such
work at the agreed compensation of X10.00 per Month.
