The Board of Trustees of the Cit~r of Lynwood met pursuant to adjournment at the above time and place. ..~, Roll Call: "'resent , ~~rustees ~3eymer , I~~cCord, ~:rhite and Pettycrew. Absent: Trustee T~~Ierrill. City .Attorney and. City Clerk present. ~i~he minutes of the meeting held on .^~ecln.esday, I`Tovember 16, 1921, at 7:30 P. T~,, , were read b.~ the Clerk, and on motion were a?proved as read. ~~~r. Stockwell, handling a tract of 34~- acres, about 120 lots, facing on Norton Avenue, and adjoining the City limits on the east and south, made applieati on to the Board to be i'urnished water for this tract . The City Attorney suggested that ?,fir. Stockwell fur- nish awritten explanation and plat of the ground - he wanted served with mater. tfiATER ~`~,~r. ~~IeCreary, speaking for 1~1r. tdelk, who owns a tract SERVICE in r.Zodjeska Park, also requested the Board. to furnish 0''id TRACTS him with water service on his tract , and wanted to know the requirements of the City, the expense, etc., connected with this matter. 1t~Ir. Davy, vn behalf of. fir. "elk, suggested that the City Fngineer furnish hire with the size of the pipe he should put in, and he would be willing to pay the cost, etc-. ~;':oved that Trustee ~Thite be authorized to make an -- arrangement with an engineer, on terms to be satisfactory to ~Tr. Theodore ~'1e7.k, for engineering data as to the proposed water distributing system for ~'.~r. ~lelk's 5 `~ propert~r, and such engineering services to be at i'uir. j'lelk's expense. The City Treasurer reported that he had on hand on TREASURER'S Tovember 30, 1921, ,~~34.29 in the General H'und, ~s399.53 REPORT in the :'later Fund, and 4168.00 of the Dog Tax Fund. The dater Clerk reported that he had collectes. since CATER I~Tovember lfi, 1921, ;;85.25, and had paid the same to the CZERH'S REPORT City 't'reasurer; and that he had on hand on November 30, 1921, <;s159.50 of the '~Tater flap Fund. T~Ioved that the Clerk of the dater Department be instructed to deposit all collections received from water connections in the Cit~t Treasury, to the credit of the FTater Fund. Carr3.ed. I;lr. ~`ihite was authorized to tat-4e the matter up ti~ith the telephone company, on behalf of the City T:~arshal. ~~~oved that all persons and crganiz~~tions using the City Hall for an evening use charged :~:~°1.00 for li~:hts end 50~~ for gas, ~.n.d x'1.00 for janitcr, to i;a'~e e-~'-~ect 5 December 1st, 1921, there no admission fce is charged; and if fora dance for vahich a charge is made, or for an entertainment or meeting to crhich an adr~~.ssion fee is charged, for other than charitable purposes, the fee shall be x;5.00 per evening, Provided, the above is not to aply to the Boy Scouts organization vs~til further action by the aboard.
