The Board of Trustees of the City of L,gnwood met pursuant
to adjournment at the above time and place.
i~OLL CALL: Present, Trustees ?~~errill, I,~cCort, 'yYlhite
~9a11, and Pettycrew.
Absent: Tlone,
City Attorney and City Clerk present.
The minutes of the mee~.;.;.ng l~ 1~. on Taetnesta~, February
1st, 1922, were neat by the Clerk, and on motion were approved

~."_r= ~. ';. Reber presented a petition for a permit to be
granted to ?3ugh doluison, for the establishment of a lumber
,yard on lots 234 , 235 , 240 ,~41, 242 and 243 , 't'ract 2551. The
petition was signed b,y 458 citizens and property owners of
Lynwood.

A communication was received from the County Surveyor
to the City _'~°~ of Lynwood, concerning !,~.ap i~o. 4G74.
The following Resolution was made:
BE IT RESOLzJ~~'D that the :Zap of Tract T?o. 4674, submitted
to this Board for its approval by the County Survegor, be
approved, and that the: City Clerk be authorized and
instructed to make the endorsement of such approval on
said plat , ~ s requested, and that the County Surveyor

be informed that there is no pity Engineer to whom
the same can be referred.

The r~'ater Clerk reported that he had collected since

the City Treasurer, leaving no balance on hand.

TREAS- The CiteT Treasurer reported the balance on hand in the

The City Marshal reported that he had received from the
Cit,p Clerk Licenses for business places, wagons, and
LICENSES peddlers in the amount of X154.00; that he had collected
COLLECTED
BY CITY 144.00 of same, and returned one License to the Cites
MARSHAL
Cler?~ undelivered. The amount collected he had paid
into the Cit,~ Treasurer, leaving nothing on hand.
An application was received from E. F. Baggott for
the erection of a garage repair service building, on
hots 323 and 324, Tract 2551.

APPLICATION lt4oved that the application of E. P. ~3aggott for

ed subject to approval of plans for same by the build-
ing inspector, and subject to conditions of Ordinance
No. 7 . Carried.
~:~oved that the City' Marshal be authorized and instructed
to enter into an arrangement with i~ir.~~ Coffees for use
of grader, team, and two men for street repair work, at
an expense of X16.00 per dad, eight hours' work, and
also to have decomposed granite healed where needed for
temporarer street repairs, at a total e~ense of not ex-
ceeding X275.00. Carried by the following vote:

The foregoing demands being approved b,y the Finance and
Auditing Committee, it was moved that they be allowed
and warrants drawn for same. Carried b~ the following

~~oved that the- Public Works Committee be instructed and
authorized to make the necessary repairs on the City
Hall to make it a comfortable place of meeting for the
Board of Trustees, at an expense of not exceeding
