The Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood rnet pursuant
to adjournment at the above time and place;
ROLLCALL;Present Trustees, Merrill, Strowger, Willard,
~!~nderson, and Rehfeld, City clerk present
President Rehfeld in the Chair.
The minutes of the meeting held on April 26,1g22,were read
b~ the clerkand on motion of Trustee ~Pillard seconded by Trustee

that that part of the ,minutes where warrants were ordered dravrn
at that time~~be amended by calling the roll on ~ ordering
such warrants;motion carried and the roll was called and the
warrants were approved by the following vote,
Ayea,Trustees Merrill, Strowger, ~9illard, Anderson and Rehfeld;
Noes, idone ,Absent None. There being no futher objections the
President announced the minutes would stand approved as read and
corrected.
The matter of the disputed bill of the Southern

California Edison ConipanywaaB~hen taken up: i~iarshal Rowleyd
and Trustee ~Ierrillannounced that thry had confered with a.
representative of the Company and had agreed to recomend
payment of said billStating that the Company'srepresentati~
had promised to adjust the matter andif justified
to later payback the X17.50;
"~ A motion was made and carried that Landlords be requB
to signup for water used. by tenants on their premises and if
not so signedup; tenants be required to pad water Rates
Strictly one month in advance also that the Delinquent water
billsbe turned over to the Water Superintendent for collectin
of watE,r rates and penalties, motion carried.

A motion was made and passed to allow the removal of the
` partition in the City Hall without coat to the city and that the
City Marshal be instructed to superintend the work, see that it is
done in a careful manner and take care of the removed material.
Mra. Bertha Osborne and Mra. J.E. Tischer presented a petitin
by request of the Lynwood Improvement Assosiation asking permisain
to alter the dining tables in the City Hall] permission granted.
Mrs. Bertha Qsborn stated that the LynWOOd Improvement
Association had been paying Electric light and Gas bills at thee
hall in the past and asked that the city assume payment in the
future A motion was made by TruatesMerrill seconded by Trustes
