RE: Peace Pole Display
The Institute for Individual and World Peace frequently holds their Peacemaker Meetings at the
Watertown Free Public Library. The coordinator, David Jenkins, recently called to say the group is
looking to install a "Peace Pole" in Watertown and would love to have it at the Library. The pole would
say "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in four different languages, and would stand between six and eight
feet tall. Mr. Jenkins said it could be an indoor or outdoor display.

I told Mr. Jenkins the matter would be reviewed by the Trustees, and we would let him know if we felt
such a display would be appropriate for the Library.
