Present: Trustees Merrill, '.Hillard, Menzel, Downey, Anderson. Absent: None. "~"" ~ ~ President Anderson ih the Chair. Clerk present. Oral Coms: Mr SchY~imsher of Bellevernon asked the attitude of the Board in regard to extending Palm and Burton Aves to the westerly bo?~ndary line of the City. It was mowed and carried that the Chair appoint a committee to act with a committee from Bellevernon in this matter. The Chair ap- pointed Tr~~stees Willard and Downey as such. Rev Barker and Chas S ~:Voods spoke on heavy trucking on Session St. Reports - Dr Bell, Sanitation Officer, made his monthly report. Same was accepted. The committee appointed to purchase a street repair outf t:~eport- ed that they had obtained a price of `290. A motion was made and carried that the Clerk be instructed to write for prices covering same. Rev Barker reported on the matter of securing lease for the City on the P F stations in the City. On motion made and seconded report was accepted and committee continued. The monthly reports of the Water and City Clerk was read and ac- cepte-I . tlnf bus. Fire Chief Baggott spoke on needed equipment for the Fire Dept. A mot,~_on was made and carried that the Board meet as a committee of the whole with the Fire Dept at a date to be set by the Chair for the pur- pose of discussing same. The Chair set Feb lei, 1924. A map offered-.b~ the City Engineer, covering the assessment dis- trict for the work of improvement as contemplated under Resolution of Intention No 122, was, on motion made and seconded, accepted and ordered returned t~ the Cit~,r Engineer. A motion by Trustee Pdenzel, seconded by Trustee Merrill, that the Clerk write various companies for prices on this equipment, was carried by the following vote: Ayes : Trustees Merrill, 'Rlillard, ?Ylenzel, Downey, Anderson. Noes: None. Absent : None . A motion by Trustee tVillard, seconded by Trustee I.Ienzel, that the Clerk be instructed to advertide for applications as helper to the Water Supt at a salary of X125 per month, was carried by the following vote: Ayes : 'trustees r+7errill . ~Tillard, Nfenzel, ?~owney, Anderson. Noes: None. Absent : Tdone . A motion by Trustee rderrill. seconded by Trustee Downey, that the Water Supt be authorized to purchase two tires and tubes for the City car, tivas carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Merrill, t.Hillard. Menzel, Downey, Andersom. Noes : I1one . Absent: None. A motion by Trustee Menzel, seconded by Trustee ~~'~illard, that the Manning Commission be' authorized to have needed repairs done on certain ornamental pasts on Pdodieska Ave, was carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Merrill, 'Hillard, Menzel, Downey, Anderson. Noes: None. Absent; None. A motion by Trustee Downey, seconded by Trustee Menzel, that the Clerk be authorized to have proper ventilation installed in the City Hall was carried by the following vote: Ayes : Trustees Merrill, '.~Jillard, Menzel. Downey, Anderson. Noes: None. Absent: None. A motion was made and carried that the Chair set a date for the viewing of the various streets and alleys for the construction of which condemnation proceedings are about to be instituted, by the Board and Cit`r Engineer.
