The Board of Trustees of the Cit~r of Lynwood met in reular ad-

On motion by Trustee Downey, seconded r~r Trustee ~;lenzel, the
Clerk was instructed to ask the City J~,ngineer to mare a personal sur-
vey of drainage conditions in the City and report same to the Board.

T7nf Bus A new Grdinance entitled "~~n Ordinance of the F3oard of Trustees
of the Citv of Lynwood, Cal., fixing the salaries of the `relater Supt,
1~Jater Clerk, City Attorney, City Recorder, City Clerk and City T~tarshal.
And annulling all Ordinances or portions of Ordinances in Conflict
...., herewith." was read for the third and last time.and placed an final
passage. ~rdhereupon said Ordinance, being Ordinance I~Jo. 31 of the City
of Lynwood was passed by the following vote:
Ayes : Trustees `Jierrill, ''Dillard, n~enzel, Downey, Anderson.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
A new'Ordinanee entitled "rln Grdinance of the City of Lynwood
defining nuisances; prohibiting the commission of any nuisance in said
• Citg, and fixing a penalty therefor." was read for the third and last
time and placed on final passage. '.~Jhereupon said Ordinance being Or-
dinance No 32 of the City of Lynwood was pass:°d by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees 'Verrill, ?`Jiilard, T~pnzel, Downey, Anderson.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
New Bus I~tr J C Grobaty asked for an expression from the F3oard regarding
the reaction amd maintenance of an undertaking parlor on Lot 171, Tract
2551. A motion ryas made and carried that the Board express ~.tse3f"as
favoring Sarre and. that the Clerk ask i1~Ir Grobat,y to appear before them
and explain in detail.
On motion by Trustee.. t~IenzPl, seconded by TrusteE- rvierrill, the
Clerk was instructed to write a Resolution of sympathy and condolence
to the family of the late A ~~ P~IcCord.
On motion Board adjourned to meet 'rJednesda#, April, 2, 1924, at
the usual time and place.
