The Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood met~in adjourned
regular session at the City Ha11 205 `~1est P~`ulford Ave Thursday* Nov 13
1924 at 7:30 pm
Present:' Trustees Rowney Gordy Z'weed~* Reed Anderson

President Anderson i.n the Chair. Clerk present
The President stated that the object of the meeting, was for
further consideration of matters pertaining to the police department.
` Trustee Downey, Police Commissioner, addressed the Board stat-
ing that owing to threats of a re-call against certain members of the
Board that it was r.is opinicn that it would not be fair to any persons
prho might be appointed as traffic officers inasmuch as said appointees
had to furnish their own epuipment at a considerable expense and in the
event of a successful re-call electfion they would unt~oubtedly be dis-
charged. Therefore he recommended that no action be taken at this time
in the matter of appointing ~t~ch"officers. And also made a motion
that the Board adjourn, which motion upon being seconded by Trustee
Gordy, was carried. ~f~
