Gentlemen: I hereby tender my resignation as Trustee of the Cit~T of LTrr~-
wocd, Cal. T,Rjr reasons for cfferin~; my resi~.nation are as follows
First: Thou~;h I have ~iveri much of my time armd best endeavors
toward the interest of our City I T~.ave been uri justly and unduly critieied
and my actions rr~isrepresented.
Second: The demands of mfr business rec{uire that i devote rnzr
entire time to it, anal this I cannot do unless I am relieved of the dutie
which I have here-to-fore assumed as a member of the Board of Trustees.

resignation of Trustee Dovvnesr be accepted and that tl~e above communica-

rnyer. Said nomination receiving no was lest.
A r~lcticn by Trustee Gordy seconded by `T'rustee Reed that H L
?eiser be appointed as a member of the Foard of Trustees of the City of
Lzrnwood to fill the vacancy created by the Resi~ation o~~ Trustee Downey,
w.as carried by the following vote:
