This matter was referred to the Clerk with instructions to write the Holly Co regarding; same The City Marshal submitted °s~: report covering the activities of • the Police Department from Feb 4 1925 to date. The City Engr explained C S moods asked that something be done in the matter of removing a certain old Structure on lots 35 and 3fi block 22 Mod~eska Park tract. It was explained that this had been referred to the City Atty. Rep Comrs Trustee Sherer reported that the deed covering lots 424-5-6-7 tract 2551 upon which the street improvement material yard was being con• strutted, had been received and filed. He also reported that the drain- age gutter across the North Roadwag of F~.st Fernwood Ave had been re- paired in a satisfactory manner TrtYstee Tweedy spoke on the necessitq, from a sanitation stand- point, of the elimination of outside toilets, and asked that action be taken. A motion was made and carried that the Health Department enforce Ordinances covering this matter New Bus The City Engineer reported that in accordance with Resolution No 245 the following had been filed in the office of the. Cit~f Clerk: Plan No 541, showing the lighting district of the City of Lynwood; Speci~ fications No 8 far furnishing for a period of two gears the service neces sary to maintain and illuminate by electric energy the suspended street lamps in the lighting assessment district in the City of Lynwood; report -- of the City F:np~r as directed by the Board of Trustees of the City of Lyn wood in Resolution No 245 of said City; diagram of the assessment distrii referred to in said Resolution No 245 send the proposed assessment of the total amount of the costs and expenses of the proposed improvement within said. districts. Resolutions Nos 250 251 and 252 in connection with the establish ment of a lighting district in the City were introduced A.Re~a~.~.t3on entitled "A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwooe~. adopting plans and specifications for the Lighting District of the City of Lynwood," was read. On motion by Trustee Anderson seconded bg Tr~zstee Hutchinson said Resolution being Resolution No 250, was adopted by the following vole: Ayes: Trustees t~nderson Hutchinson Sherer Tweedy Schouten Noss: None Absent: None A Resolution entitled "A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Citq of Lynwood adopting the report of the City Engineer relating to the service necessary to maintain and ilhuninate by electric energy the suspended street lamps in the lighting assessment district of-the Cite o~ Lynwood," was read. On motion by Trustee ~'inderson seconded by Trustee Tweedy said Resolution being Resolution Ido 251, was adopted by the fol- lowing vote: tiger: trustees Anderson Hutchinson Sherer Tweedy Schouten Noes: None Absent: None ~"'-` A Resolution entitled "A Res elution of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood appointing the time and place for hearing protests i~ relation to improvements proposed by Resolution No 245 of said City, r©- lating to furnishing of certain street lighting service in said City for a period of tyro-gears," was read. On motion by Trustee Anderson seconded by Trustee Hutchinson said Resolution being Resolution No 252, was adopt by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Anderson Hutchinson Sherer Tweedy Schouten Noes: None Absent: None The Bard having under contemplation certain street improvement on West Burton Ave the following Resolution were offered: A Resolution entitled "A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood adopting plans and spec if ication~ for improvements to be Horde on a portion of Burton Avenue in the City of Lynwood, Calif- ornia, together with the district to be assessed to pay the costsa and ~4 .~,,,, expenses thereof," was read. On motion by Trustee Sherer '"~ seconded by Trustee Anderson said Resolution being Resolution No 253, was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Anderson Hutchinson Sherer Tweedy Schouten PJoes : None Absent: None A Resolution entitled "A Resolution of the Board of Trus- tees of the City of Lynwood declaring its intention to improve portion of Burton Avenue in said City of Lynwood, and describing '. ' the district to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses for said improvement," was read. On motion by Trustee Tweedy seconded by -'~F~~ Trustee Sherer said Resolution being Resolution of Intention No 254, was adopted bar the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Anderson Hutchinson Sherer Tweedy Schouten Noes: None Absent: None A diagram presented by the City Engineer, showing the dis- trict to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses of the work of improvement as contemplated under Resolution of Intention No 249 in the district known as Josephine etal streets, was approved. Th~'Y'resident appointed Trustee Hutchinson as Commissioner of Fire & Police Police Commissioner Hutchinson stated that certain persons had been appointed from time to time as Special Police of.f icers and no record having been kept of said appointments, recommended that all such appointments made prior to Feb 4 1925 be annulled and bad~;es called in.
