Present: Trustees Hutchinson R'ordy Reed Downey Absent: Trustee Tweedy President Downey in the Chair. City Attorney and Clerk present. The reading of the minutes of the meeting of Sept 16 was omitted. "~ Unf bus (Qn motion made and carried the hearing of protests on the work or improvement as contemplated by Resolution of Intention No 245 was con- tinued to the next meeting. On motion made and carried consideration of the bids for the work or improvement as contemplated by Resolution of Intention No 265 was con- tinued to the next meeting. The hearing on why bonds should not be issued to cover the unpaid assessments for the work or improvement done under Resolution of Intention No 229 having been continued to this date, was on motion made and carried continued to the next meeting of the Board. New bus A motion by Trustee Reed seconded by Trustee Gordy that the firm of Person & Rogers Attorneys of Los Angeles be employed to assist the City Attorney in the in~unetion suit now pending in the Superior Court, was ~., ~.., carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Hutchinson Gordv Reed Downey Noes: None Absent: Trustee Tweedy On motion Board ad,iourned to meet t~ednesday Sept 23 usual time and place.
