Regular Meeting Oct 21 1925

The Board of Trustees of the amity of Lynwood met in regular ses-
sion at the City Hall 205 "Vest Mulford Ave 'Wednesday Oct 21 1925 at 7:30pm.
Present: Trustees Hutchinson CTordy Keed ll.,wney
Absent : Trustee 'tweedy
President Downey in the Chair. City Engineer City Attorney and Clerk
present.
The minutes of the meetings of Oct 14, 15 and 16 were read and ap-
proved as read.
Rcpt Comrs Police Commissioner Hutchinson spoke on a plan he had in mind re-
garding the care or the fire engine, and presented an application signed
by J E Eggleston for the job or' wring for said t'ire engine and answering
fire calls. He explained the advantages to be gained, and stated that the
compensation asked by Mr Eggleston was the same now being paid. ~~ motion
was made and carried that application be ~~~e~ted and filed for action at
the next meeting of the Board.
t7nf bus `.this being the time and place set for the hearing of protests
against the work or improve:~ent as contemplated by Resolution of Intention
No 245, on motion made and carried said hearing was continued to the next
regular meeting, Nov 4, 1925.
The. City Engineer,.~in d~@mpt~ance with instructions of the Board,
submitted a communication to the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles Co,
asking tnat an~nnder~round storm drainage system be installed from Vernon
to the Los Angeles River east of Dominguez sTunction along the proposed
route, or thereabouts, of Santa Fe Ave, ~,hett~~ gaid:~ syl~tem- be .~instaled` oy
the Los ~ Angeles Cor.~nty Flood Control and paid for from the funds of said
llepartment. A motion was made and carried that the City Engineer be in-
structed to forward said communication to the Board ~i' Supervisors of
Los Angeles County.
New bus Trustee Hutchinson presented his resignation, said resignation

A motion by Trustee Gordy seconded by Trustee Reed that the re-
signation of ~" E Hutchinson as member of the Board oi' Trustees be ac-
cepted as read, was carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Hutchinson Gordy geed Downey
Noes: None
Absent: Trustee Tweedy
On motion Board adjourned to meet Monday Oct 26 1925 at the
usual time and place.
