Tresident rowney being absent the F?oard w~is called to order by the Clerk ??resent: Trustees Anderson Tweedy Gordy Reed Elbsen.t: Trustee Downey Cit~r Atttr Engineer Stenographer and Clerk present ~„_, On motion made €~nd carried Trustee Reed was elected President pro tem 'F~rit Coms A communication was read from the Lynwood Municipal' League asking tYiat the City purchase a "First E.id Kit': A motion b~• ~"rustee Gordy seconded b~* Trustee Anderson that the Hea:~_th ~c Safety Commissioner be authorized to purchase a "Y~'irst tiid Kit"" was carried by tY:e following vote: Ayes: ~i''rustees Anderson Tweedy Gordy Reed Noes: None l~bsent : `T'rustee I:~owney A communication was read from the Pacific Electric Rv Co regardin the installation of a wig-wag at the I~!Iodieska Avenue crossing, said' Co stating that after an investigation of traffic conditions at this cross- ing it had been decided that a protective device was not needed at this time. A motion was made and carried that the Clerk be instructed to write the Railroad Commission asking that wig-wags be installed at the Bizl l i s Road and rood j e ska Avenue crossings . T1xif Bus This being the time and place set for the hearing of protests against the work or improvement as contemplated by Resolution of Inten- tion PJo 245, a motion was made and carried that said hearing be continu- ed to rec 16 1925. `t'his being the time and place set for the hearing of protests against the assessment, diagram or proceedings, or anyT acts or decisions of the Street Supt, or the Cit~* _Fhgineer, for the work or im*~rovement ~- done under Resolution of Intention No 254 in the district known as a por tion of ~"Jest Burton =we, the Clerk announced that no protests were on file. 4~Jhereupoh a Resolution entitled "A Resoluticn of the Ysoard of Trus tees of the Citm of Lynwood, California, overruling certain objections and appeals, and ax~proving and conf firming the assessment and diagram for the improvement of portions of Burton Avenue in said City, as is more particularly descr4bed in Resolut ion of Intention Tvo 254 of the said Board of Trustees," was read.
