The Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood met in adjourned
regular session at the City .I~a11 205 i~lest Mulford Avenue Friday Dec la
1925 at 7:30 pm.
Present: Trustees Anderson Tweedy Gordy Reed Downey
Absent: None
City Fn~rineer, Attorney. Steno~apher and Clerk present

The reading of the minutes of the P:~eeting of Dec 16 was emitted.
Unf Bus The President declared a recess of rive minutes.

Trustee Andersen offered a Resolution, and made a motion that
same be read, said motion upon being seconded by Trustee Reed was carried
by the following vote:

Absent: None
t"mereupon a Resolution entitled "A Resolution, order and proc-
lamation giving notice of and providing for the holding of a Special
Election in the Citv of Lynwood, on Tuesday, the 26th day of January,
1926, to determine whether or not Frank pR Downey, Gharles F Reed and
Lars C Anderson, Trustees of the City of Lynwood, shall be recalled as
such Trustees; establishing consolidated election precincts therefor,
and designating the polling places in and the appointing of a Board of
F ection for each thereof, and fixing the comx~ensation of Election Of-
ficers and for the renting of the places to be used as such polling
places," was read. On motion by `T'rustee Gordy seconded by Trustee Reed
said Resolution being Resolution No 277 was adopted by the following
vote'
Ayes : 'T}~ustees l~nderson Gordy Reed Downey
NoeR : 'T'ru~t,Ae Tweedy. Absent: None. Trthstee Tweedy stated he was
in favor of calling an election, but was against election officers namea.~ .',, : ,
iJnder remarks on the above motion that the foregoing Resolution
be adopted .Trustee Tweedy protested the personnel of the Election Offi-
cers as specified in said Resolution, asking that he be allowed to desig- .~
pate one Election Officer in each precinct.
Trustee Gordy stated that he thought the `T'rustees whose recall
was being sought should have the privilege of namimg the Election Offi-
cers.
Trustee Anderson said he thought that it was only fair that
Trustee Tweedy be allowed to name one Election Officer in each F'recinet.
The City Engineer stated that he had been unable to get in
touch with the Chairman of the Count~T Planning Commission regarding the
prop+seed extension of Santa Fe Avenue through the City. But had filed
a request that the said Commission confer with the Board of Trustees
of the City of Lynwood before arriving at a definite conclusion in this
matter.
Bills The demand of C G Vincent & Co covering certain transcription
in the case of ~lorth vs Downey etal amounting to 467.90 was roferred by
the President to the Board as a committee of the whole.
On motion Board adjourned to meet 'Wednesday Dee 23 1925 at the
usual time and place.
