The Board of Z7~ustees of the City of Lynwood met in adjourned regu-
lar sesGion at the City Hall 205 W Mulford Ave ~"dednesday Dec 23 1925 at
7:30 pm
Present: Trustees Anderson Tweedy Gord~~ Reed Downey
Absent: None
City Atty, Stenographer and Clerk present
President Downey- presiding
The minutes of the meetings of Dec 16 and 18 were read. A motion
by Trust;ee Reed seconded b y Trustee Gordy that that portion of the min-
utes of the meeting of Dec 18 reading;: "'r Trustee Tweedy stated he was in
favor of calling an election, but was against election officers named,"
be stricken out, was carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Anderson Gordy Reed Downey
Toes: Trustee Tweedy
Absent: None
Otherwise the minutes were approved
Rept Comrs TI'Yie' Li~Zht Commissioner reported that an order had been placed with
the ~^dison Co for the installation of a 600CP light at the intersection
of ~~ Fernwood and the Southern Pacific Ry.
`.['he Police Commissioner stated that an extra off icer had been em-
ployed to work during the holidays
`i'he Water Commissioner spoke regarding shortage of water in the
south part of the City, the same being due to the small mains supplying
~h~it territory, He:'stated th~It the surplus in the ?~Jater Fund amounted to
approximately 35rJU, and recommended the installation of a permanent
main large enough to furnish an adequate water supply, the same to be
installed along the west side of the Boulevard behind the frontage lots.
He asked that one Trustee be appointed to act with him as a committee to
investigate cost, etc., and make a report to the I~oard covering this
matter. The President apnointed~ Trustee Reed.
Mr Clary of ~~~ Carlin stated that the water supply was very poor in
that part of the City, and that during the summer months it was practi-

tally impossible to do anti irrigating.

A motion by Trustee Anderson seconded br Trustee Reed that the
above demands be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for same, was carried
'~bv the following vote
A motion by Trustee Reed seconded by ~i'rustee Gordy that the Board
adjourn to meet Saturday Dec 26 1925 at the usual time and place, was
carried by the following vote:
