Comrs Trustee 'T'weedy stated that S J Chapman had requested him to ask permission from the Loard to inst;all a gasoline pump on tY~e outside edge of the sidewalk on Lot 212 Tract 2551. This was referred to the Btreatr~.J Bus The hearing of protests why bonds should not be issued to pay the unT~aid costs and expenses of the wark and improvement done under Resolution of Intention No 254 in the district known as a portion of W Burton Ave having been continued to this date, the Clerk announced that there were no protests on file, and the President inquiring if any per- son desired to be heard and no one responding, a Resolution entitled "A Resolution of the Board of `i'rust,ees of the City of Lynwood, Califor- nia, relating to the issuance of Street Improvement Bands pursuant to Resolution of Intention Number 254, determining the amount of tu~paid as- sessments, prescribing'the denomination of such bonds and providing far their issuance," was read. Un motion btT "'rustee ~'weedv seconded by Trustee Reed said Resolution being Resolution No 2£31 was adopted by the followinp~ vote: Ayes : `T'rustees Tweedy Gordy ??eed Downey Does: Done lLbsent, : Trustee ~~nderson 't'his being the time and place sat for the receiving of sealed bids or proposals for certain water pi?~e and fittings, the Clerk stated. tYiat there sere four bids on file. C~ motion bar Trustee f'ordy seconded btr Trustee Reed that the Clerk open, examine and. publicly declare all bids on file, was carried by the following; vote: .
