Adjourned I~egular Meeting Feb 20 1926
The Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood met in adjourned reFzu-
lar session at the City Hall 205 test Mulford Avenue Saturday Feb 20 1926
at 7:30 pm.
Present : Trustees Tweedy Roberts Curdy N[urra;~ creenamger
Absent: None

.- A motion by Trustee Tweedy seconded by Trustee
on the minutes of the meeting of ~'eb 17 be laid over

i7nder remarks an the above motion Trustee Gordy asked why delay
action on the minutes, and stated that as a member of the Board of Trus-
tees ha asked that same action be taken on said minutes, either approval
or disapproval. He also asked on what grounds action was laid over. He
was not informed.
The '~'re`sic?ent stated that the object of the meeting has for the
purpose of. deciding what action should be taken in the matter of the Blvd
Lighting System. He asked that all owners of property* abutting on the
I31vd express themselves, but that others please refrain from speaking.
A motion by Trustee Murray seconded by Trustee Roberts that no pars
be allowed to speak except owe.ers of Bo~.levard property, that said person
be allowed to speak only once, and that the time for speaking be limited
to three minutes, was carried by the following vote:

Absent : None
Not voting: Trustee Crordy
The 'resident now stated that the meeting was open far general dis-
cussion, and asked all interested property- owners to express- themselves.
Pd J Kendall, who stated that he was an attorney rex~resenting certai
clients, namely: H E Zeiser G E Sharer A H Clemens Jas Hay E c; T3oren H J
Schouten F M Downey and Mr Duree who owned a total of 1107 feet fronting
on Long F3each Blvd, addressed the Board statf,ng that his clients were ful
1~ satisfied with the price and character of the work being done at the
present time, that they were willing to pay for the lights but were not
willing to paq for damages in the event of a suit by the contractor, and
that they insisted that the work proceed at once.

The total number of frontage feet voted against the instal-W""`.
lation of lights on the Blvd was found to be 1592.48.
The total number of frontage feet voted in favor of the in-
stallation of lights on the Blvd was found to be 2336.21.
President Greenamyer stated that it was the intention of the
Board of 'Trustees to comply with the expressed wishes of a majority of
the people.
Trustee Roberts expressed his appreciation of the attendance
at the meeting, promised ca-operation in all matters, and extended his
thaYaks for expressions regarding the matter of the Blvd l~:ghts, stating
that by such expression the Board was given an idea w23at bhe majority of
the people desired. """~'
A motion by Trustee Murray seconded b~~ Trustee Roberts that
the City Attorney be instructed to draw a Resolution revoking Resolution
No 287, was carried b~- the following vote:
