Fernwood-,was deniede~ as it is intended to repair East-~-~ Fernwbod ,inthe near future,and Trucks could'do rho dama~~$ g~©tb~~s from property owners along E. Fern.wood against the setting' of Hower poles,b,;* the Ca1df.Edison Co,was filled and discussed by several citizens. This matter was laid over untill after said property owners and the Supertendint of the So.Calif Edison Go,had met and tried to settle the matter them selves. The bids for painting the Gity water Tanks &Toners were opened: Ther were enly two bidders, B.M.Ky-ight,of ' Los Angeles, bid X250,00. J.S;McCarty of Lynwood,b id X306.00. Moved by Trustee Murry,Seconded by'T.rustee Rice ,that both bids be rejected,as being exor'~~.~ant, Roll Call: Ayes: Trustees Tweedy. Skelton,Rice,Murry,and Greenamyer Noes: None. Motion carried and so ordered. Mr.L.E.Stockwell addressed the Board,with reference to location a novelty Foctory g~~r~nteed to employee not less thane ome thousand men.Said Factory'to be located on the Stockwell Tract ab~acent to N.E.hvnwood. He asks the City to grant an ;e~.>.. easement along ~r~eertain water drain and certain alleys to tha P.E.Trae~s,for respurytrack~.0,~5~oYYwe]~'~.'ract., ,.,., A commitee~wappointed to nvegate and report to the Board of Trustees Tuesda~r night'June 1,1926. PRoved by Trustee Tweedy,and seconded by Trustee Rice,that the list of unpaid as~5ssmentfor the light empravements alongthe Long Beach Blvd.he filed and same be~pulbished as required by law. Motion carried and so ordered, Mr,Gray addressed the Board on the matter of water pipes being gut into buildings and being; laid too near the top of the groun~.This matter was referq~edto the builQing inspector to be provided forin~the new Plumbing Ordinance nos being prepared. Messers,Inl;raham,and Gray addressed the Board with reference to Dogs. City ~Viarshall was instructed to look after the Dogs. PJir. Ingraham,also spoke of No 2 Tank grounds having been ~ ~ given to the Lynwood Tennis Club,who offered to beauttEyand take care of same,but have negelected the grounds,and they have grown up in ~: weedG.The Presici@nt~: of the Tennis Club,vras ordered to be notified.. ~;„ Trtigfree Tweed~r, called attention to an open cess pool at the P.
