CALL TO ORDER
The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of April 19, 2004, was convened at 5:45 p.m. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Angle, Berry, Ferguson, Gordon, Groner, Klindt, Olsen, Viessman,
Vogel, and Weber; Councilmen -Elect Brown, Crane, Harvey, Martin,
and Patterson
Absent: None
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bills 2003 -195 and 2003 -196: City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus distributed "Motions to
Amend" for both bills to address the issue of sidewalk variances. He explained what the
amendments would accomplish if approved in light of the Planning & Zoning Commission's
recommendations concerning the variance requests. Councilman Dan Klindtwill be making
the motions to amend because he is the liaison to the Planning & Zoning Commission.
Councilman Richard Groner stated he will abstain on Bill 2003 -196 because he owns
property adjacent to the affected property.
Bill 2003 -201: Community Development Director Pat Sullivan distributed a memo
explaining the background for requesting the reclassification of positions within his
department.
No official actions were taken as this was a work session only.
