A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JULY 18, 2023, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
TO REZONE 3287 IRELAND AVENUE NW (TIFFIN WEST) FROM R-1 E TO C -2B
AND R-1 E TO M-1, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA
Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Honey Lane Development, LLC to rezone
3287 Ireland Avenue NW (Tiffin West) from R-1 E (Estate Family) to C -2B (Community
Business District) and from R-1 E (Estate Family) to M-1 (Light Industrial) in Tiffin, Iowa,
and,
Whereas, the exhibit of the property is attached to this resolution; and,
Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning
on a 4-0 vote at its June 14, 2023, meeting.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
date of public hearing for July 18, 2023, to discuss the rezoning of the property located
at 3287 Ireland Avenue NW.
On the 11 th day of July, 2023, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2023-047, A RESOLUTION
SETTING THE DATE OF JULY 18, 2023, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE A
PORTION OF 3287 IRELAND AVENUE NW (TIFFIN WEST) FROM R-1 E TO C -2B
AND R-1 E TO M-1, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Havens, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann, Orris.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2023-047, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE
OF JULY 18, 2023, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE A PORTION OF 3287
IRELAND AVENUE NW (TIFFIN WEST) FROM R-1 E TO C -2B AND R-1 E TO M-1, IN
THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
