"JI. Present; Trustees Greenamyer,Murray,Tweedy,Rice and Skelton Absent; None City engineer Miller present, President Gresnamyer in the chair. The minutes of the last meeting read and approved. The Committee reported as favoring the bid of B.Nicholl & Co. and this bid was ordered accepted, A communication from the Street Supt,was read advising the inst- allation of a gasoline Tank and Pump for use of Tractor and City vehicles He advised the savings would pay for the installation in a very few month; ' t Trustees bZurray,Skelton and Gresnamyer was appointed a committe® to inves• tigate on this and report; Oral Communications; Trustee Skelton reported the approximate cost of fire proof vault ' for the City hall would be 175.00 without the doors,President greenamye~ reported the double doors would cost about 150.OO,matter passed until the next meeting, Committee on meeting with the Regional planing commission with rez"erence to routing of Santa Fe Ave reported they could give no deffinite imformation untt~l after Freiday afternoon, Matter of changing the names of certain streets to comply with the government demands to facilitate free delivery of mail was discussed. ~ The matter of having the houses numbered to comform frith the numbers on the curb was discussed and ordered published in the Lynwood Tribune. ~' Some suggested changes were as follows; Pine Street to be Alpine Street. Bu11is Road (name to be selected by residents) Lynwood Place to be Court Street, The Lynwood Social Club requested permission to hold their annual dance,Saturday evening Aug 7,1926 until 2;00 A,M,It was moved by Trustee Rice and seconded by Trustee Murray that the request be granted. Roll Call; Ayes; Trustee Gresnemyer Murray Rice Skelton and Tweedy, Tdoes; None. `T'he request for permit to erect a building on Long Beach Blvd for sale o8 Orange Juice was received and discussed.Any building to erected was ordered to comply with Ordinance and be Fire goof. The reports of the City clerk and hater clerk was received,read accepted .and ordered fs~led. The List o~ demands for the Month of July,other than salaries was read.It was moved by Trustee Twee~~y and seconded by Trustee Rice that same be allowed and warrants drawn for the amounts. Roll Call; Ayes; Trug~ses Rice Tweedy Skeltom Murray and Gresnamyer. Noes; Nose.
