The Board of Trustees of the City of Lyni~tiood met in rogular
session,at the City Ha11 205 'Jest P~ulford 1~ve,,Tuesday eve~hing Aug.

Present; Trustees Tweedy,Skelton,Rice,Murra~,r,and Greenamyer.
City attorney Hayne and Cit;~J- Engineer rr7iller present,
president Greonamyer in the chair.
Communications;
A. comm~znica~tion from contractor Sneed read and passed,
A communication front ?~ynwood Chamber of Commerce expressing
appreciation, in th.e action of the Board of Tr~~stees relative to the
routing of the Elvds through T,ynwood,tvas read and ordered filed,
A communication from the ChiE;z° of Police,requesting the city
to furnish gasoline to all ~'olice officers while on duty, was read and
p,~ seed to the noxt meeting.
A eom;nunication .from tie Lynwood Social Club making charges,
against two Lynwood Police officers,of unjust treatmer_t was read and
ordered filed and a thorough investigation made.

to the dater conditions on East ~ernwood Ave and the closing of the
culvert on Fir Street 'oy the Pacific Electric Co. ,

Tr~astee Murray reported to receipt of a contract with the'
Westinghouse Electric i~,fg Co,,for the supplying of lamps for the
Blvd Lights which had been approved by the Conu~nittee.Moved by `trustee
Murray and seconded by Trustee F?ice that the contract be accepted and
filed,

It was moved by'"Trustee i~iurray and seconded by Trustee Skelton
that thz contract between the City of Lynwood and City Engineer Diller
for Engineering services be accepted,

Resolution No 300 ~;rtaining to the improveing and paying of
Banning t~ve.ard for a Bond Issue to pay for same, was read,r~~Zoved by
Trustee Rice and seconded by Trustee `T'weedy that said resolution be
passed and published as required by Law,

The Auditor-s for the Current year was read, It was moved
b•y Trustoe Rice and seconded by Trustee Skelton that the Auditors
report be adopted and ordered filed,

Noes; None.
It was moved by Trustee Rice and seconded by Trustee Murray
that the Board adjourn until Friday evening at 7;00 P,M.Motion was '
