From the Hartf ord Accident & Ide;mnity Company requesting imfcrmat-
ion regarding the resignation of Van Dyke Z'odd as City Clerk and Recorder.
Oral Communications:
An Aticle was presented by Fire chief Roberts on Volunteer fire
Departments and their needs,the article was read by the Clerk,
Mr„Stansberry spoke in behalf of the tAa.T"J,i~aney Or ganization,ownc~rs
of a' Tract of Land Fast of Lynwood,re=°ardin~ the connectin~T of the Streets
in the Tract to the Streets of Lynwood and also regardinn• the proposed open-
ing of Virginia Street to a width of Two Hundred fcet.Iie sug;~ested that 100
feet would be sufficient.President Greenamyer ststad that nothing had been
done regarding this Street,and refered him to P~Zr.Pomeroy of the Regional Plat
ing Commission.
Mr.John A,Miller spoke regarding: the unsatisfactory means of tran-
sportation to Huntington T'ark and South Gate.and suggested that the City
Authorities take some steps to establish a Buss System,
The Monthl;~ report of the City Clerk for t,hL month of August was
read,It was moved by Trustee Murray and seconded by 'T'rustee Tweedy that same
be accepted and ordered filed,ii7otion carried and so ordered.
The City Sttorney presented a proposed new Ordinance on the car-
in€~ for Vj7eeds on vacant Lots.It, was refered,by the chair ,to Trustees Murray
and Rice for investigation and report at the next meeting. •
It TNas moved by Trustee Rice and seconded by Trustee Pdurray that
each I~'otoreycle Officer be allowed two gallons os gasoline ~~e-r day,pro~iding
that each Officer shall not receive more than Fifty two gallons of Gaso_l3ne
per month.

the Desire of the Board of Trustees that he at~:,end the Meetings of the Board.
Resolution No.306 Creating the office of Purchaser of necessary
office and other material and supplies for the seveaal Pliunicipal Departments
of the City of Lyn~JOOd and appointir_m an imcumbe~nt of such office and fixing
his compensation,was read, It was moved by ~i'rustee T~Zurray and seconded by
Trustee Rico that the above Resolution be rased and Clarence L.Stoddard be
appointed to fill the office.

a City License Grdinance to replace the one now in force,I'Jiotion carries and
so ordered.
It was moved by 'Truste® Tweedy and seconded By `T'rustee Rice that
