Communications: A communication from R. E. Day regarding the extension of California Street was read. It was moved by Trustee Tweedy and second- ed by Trustee Skelton that same be referred to the Street Superin- tendent for investigation and necessary action. Motion was carried and so ordered. Oral Communications: Mr. Gray requested information regarding the .extent of the paving on Elmwood under the 114th Street improvement. President Greenamyer stated for the 9oard that she plans for Elmwood were not complete and he could give no information. It was moved by Trustee Riee and seconded by Trustee Tweedy that the City of Lynwood purchase the motor driven siren, used by the City of ~7atts, from the City of Los Angles for the sum of X50.00. Roll call: Ayes; Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Rioe, Murray and Greenamyer. Noea; None A number of demands as shown by a schedule presented by the City Clerk were read. It was waved by Trustee Tweedy and sec- onded by Trustee Rice that same be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasurer for the amount. Roll call; Ayes: Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Cice, rllurray and Greemamyer, Noss: None Resolution Na. 311, entitled In The Matter of Acquisition and Improvement District Tdo. 3 of the City of Lynwood, Order Direct- ing Proparation of Speeifieations, was read. It was moved by Trus- tee Riee and seconded by Trusttee Tweedy that same be adapted. Roll call: Ayes: Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Rice, Murray and Greenamyer. Noes: None The report of t?~e Cityy Engineer regarding Acquisition and Improvement District No. 3 of the City of Lynwood, was read. It was moved by trustee Murray and seconded by Trustee fiweedy, that same be accepted and placed on file. Motion was carried and so ordered. A report from tr.e City Engineer regarding the estimated cost of improvement in Acquisition and Improvement District No. 3~ City of Zynwood was read. It was moved by Trustee Murray and sec- onded by Trustee Skelton that same be accepted and planed on file. ~llotion carried and so ordered. Resplution No. 315 In the Matter of the Acquisition and Improvement District No. ~ of the City of Lynwood, Resolution Approving Specifications, was read.
