The minutes •f January 11, were read and apprevcd as read, The minutes •f January 13, were re~:d and approved as read, The time having arrived for the hearing •f protests on the improvements une~er Aewuisitien and improvements District N• 4 •f the City of Lynwood,protests were called for by the ?resident, A communication from Swaffieid and Swaffield entering a pretest for Margeret Stanke and Bertha Buckman a~;ainst the imprsvrnent of Peach Street was read. Oral protest were then called for and none being forthcoming it was moved by Trustee Murray and seconded by Trustee Tweedy that a Resolution passing upon protests and mod if ications be presented,Motien was eaecied and s• •rdered. Resolution No 323 entitled"In the matter •f Acquisition and improvement District N• 4.Resolution R~ssing upon protests and moiiif - ications,wasrread,It was moved by Trustee Tweedy and seconded by Trustee Skelton that the ab eve resolution be adopted. Roll Call; Ayes;Trustees Tweedy Skelton Race Murray and Greenamyer, Nees; None Mr,Ted Downey of the Lynwood Cleaners and Dyers made applic- ation for a permit t• install a cleaning snit dying plant ac~voss the a11ey and back •f their s~ere.Lt was moved by Trustea Rice and seconded by Trustee Skelton that this permit be granted on the condition that the Building regulations be foll~ied and that they place a Bond of one thousand dollars 01000.00) with the City to guarantee the use of non-imflamab le cleaning material only. Mr.Gray requested imf ormation on,why the search fees had been raised from one dollar t• tw• dollars and a half ,The whole matter of searches was explained by the-City Clerk at the request of the President., Mr.J.L,Johnsten stated the premises •f Lewis Booke were a nt~i- eanca because •f the odors and the barking dogs and wanted to know what could be done t• abate this nuisance.He was told he should take the matter up with the City recorder at a later date, The committee investigating the supposed shortaga en the b •eks of the City reperted,recommending that a sew committee be appointed t• place the matter befsre the Grand Jury,It was moved by Trustee Tweedy and seconded by Trustee Murray that a committee composed •f the City attorney and the City Clerk be appointed t• present the matter to the Grad Jury.
