Tuesday evening February the 1st, 192?.
Present: Trustees Tweedy,Rice,'Murray and Greenarnyer
Kbsent: Trustee Skelton
Gity ~zgineer T~diller was present.
the minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved
as read.
The Committee appointed to carry the matter of shortage of
City money to the Court reported that the matter was being taken care
of and recommended that the City Attorney be instructed to institute
Civil action against Fred E. belch to recover money due. It eras ,..,~,
moved by Trustee Rice and seconded by Trustee Tweedy that the City
Attorney be instructed to institute said suit.

It was moved by `T'rue tee i~urray and seconded by Trustee
Tweedy that Caroline Bryant be appointed water clerk at a salary of
X80.00 a month.

Trustee Skelton arrived at this time and took his place
at the Council table.
lne Litt' L1erk was instructed to investigate and report
any sign ordinance new on record int:ne City of Lynwood.
yhe Committee appointed to draw an electric ordinance
reported stating that nothing had been accomplished to date due to
the fact that Fred Lampe had requested to be relieved from this Com-
mittee. Tt was moved by Trustee Murray and seconded by Trustee
`Tweedy that Fred Lampe be relieved and t-2e City Clerk be appointed
in his place, and that this Committee be instructed to prepare an
Ordinance covering the question ~f ' e~i~ ing the City. ~e ~~o tion
was ca~~ried and so ordered. --
It was moved by Trustee nice and seconded by Trustee
Tweedy that `~.'rustee Murray be added to this Oommittea for the purpose
of revising the building Ordinance. Motion was carried and so or-
dered.
It was moved by Trustee Murray and seconded by Trustee
Skelton that Officer +~. ~?. P~cCune be instructed to refund the X10.00'
collected by ham far damages to his motorcycle to ~tiir. P,icCarty and that
he submit his bill for the cost of repair of said motorcycle which
will be paid by the City.

Ordinance I~~o. 77 entitled, "An Ordinance of the Board of
Trustees of the City of Lynwood fixing water rates and other charges
and annulling certain sections of certain Orel. neater," was read.
It was moved by Truster Skelton and seconded. by Trustee Rice that same
be accepted as read the first time and passed to second reading.

Ordinance No. 77 as entitled as s:nou~ above, was read for
a second time. It was moved by Truster Murray and s.aconded by Trustee
Tweedy that same be accepted as read the second time and passed to thr
third reading.

published once in the Lynwood tribune and have sufficient copies made
to enclose one with each water bill sent the first of the month.

Resolution No. 326 in the Matter of Acquisition and Imrprove-
ment District No. 4 of the City of Lynwoca~d, a Resolution ordering
Acquisition and lmprvvement, was read. It was moved by Trustee Rice
and seconded bg Trustee Tweedy that same be adopted.

Resolution No. 327 In the Matter of Acquisition and Improve-
ment e~ District No. 6 of the City of Lynwood, resolution ordering
acquisition and improvement, was read. It was moved by Trustee Tweedy
and seconded. by Trustee Murray, that same be adopted.

It was mo ved by `.rustee Murray and seconded by Trustee
Tweedy that a Committee compcs ed of sax members including the _~ity
Clerk to be known as, `the Zoning and Planning Committee, the Board
of `trustees reserving the right to discharge any member from said
Committee. Motion was ca-~~r ied and so ordered.

Trustee Kies seconded by Trustee tweedy which was carried and so
ordered.
It was moved by Trustee Rice and seconded by Trustee Skel-
tom that a clipping machine ~e be purchased at an approximate cost
of X3.00, the same to be used by the 'dY~.ter Department.

A number of demands as shown by a schedule presented by the
City Clerk were read. It was moved by ~ustee Rice and seconded by
Trustee Murray that same be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treaurer
for the amounts
