devoted to the use and convenience of the gereral public and for free
and undisputed passage to, and from a Public Dock to be construtted
and, maintained by by, said Village Board as aforesaid, and if said
:Village Board fails to keep said dock in repairand good condition
for safety and use of the public at all times, then this
instrument becomes null and void and of no force in law and this
