The Board of Trusties of the ~~ity of Lynwood met in regular
session at the City Mall, 3221 :,Mulford- r ve . , on June l4, 1927. at 7 ;30
Present : Trustees Tweedy,Skelton,Rice,~~urray and Greenamyer
City Bngineer I:iller and :ity ;'attorney Layne present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved
as read .
The hour having arrived for the opening of bids for tie
installation of sewers under Acquisition and :improvement District No 7.
it was moved by Trustee pinrray and seconded b~ Trustee .ice that said
bids be opened. ~~otion wa.s carried and so ordered.

The bids were pefered to the ity Engineer for tabulation.
Resolution ~~~o. 358 relating to annexation of !r~~awona Park
was introduced and it was moved by Trustee Skelton and seconded by Trustee
Tweedy that same be rescinded.

Resolution TJo. 361 relating to the annexation of ~~awona Park
was read. it was moved by Trustee ~.~urray and seconded by Trustee Rice that
same be adopted.

It was moved by Trustee .rice and seconded by Trustee ~~irray
that the Street Department be instructed to prepare the Zots at the Corner
of Spruce and Fernwood for playground for general use.

Ordinance i~o. 84 entitled " An Crdinance of the ~;ity of -
Lynwood establishing a City Planning Commissioh for said city, providing
for the appointment thereof, and prescribing its powers and duties.".
was read.. It was moved by Trustee~~ice and seconded by Trustee Tweedy that
same be $ccepted as read the first time and passed to the second reading.

Resolution i~o. 36$ accepting bid under Acquisition and Imp-
rovement District Teo. 7 and awarding Contract to Bebek and Brkich was read.

adopted.

Intr. Gray reported bad condition around. the base of an i~dison
C;o. Pole on~ Zong Beach Boulevard near Beachwood. `T'his was refered to the
Street Department for attention.
It was moved by 'ruGtee `i~aaeedy and seconded by Trustee ~;.array
that the salary of the City Recorder be increased to ~ 150.00 par. month
effective July 1,1927.
