KNOWN AS THE TOWN OF WATERTOWN, ENTITLED FIRE REGULATIONS
Be it ordained by the Town Council of the City known as the Town of Watertown as follows:
Chapter IX of the General Ordinances of the City known as the Town of Watertown entitled Fire
Regulations is amended to read:
Section 2 "Fee Schedule Inflammables" is amended to read "Fee Schedule —Flammable and
Combustible Liquids, Flammable Solids or Flammable Gases"
Section 2 is further amended by striking the current fee structure and inserting in place thereof the
following paragraphs:
(a) The annual fees to be charged for licenses for the storage of motor vehicles in any
building or structure shall be in accordance with the following schedule:
(1) At least five (5) motor vehicles but not more than ten (10) motor vehicles 555.00
(2) Eleven (1 I) motor vehicles but not more than twenty (20) motor vehicles $ 110.00
(3) More than twenty (20) motor vehicles $220.00
(b) The annual fees to be charged for permits (Pursuant to 527 CMR 14.03 — Storage) for the
keeping or storing of hazardous materials, including crude petroleum or any of its
products in any building or structure or in any underground or above ground tank for
business or commercial purposes, shall be in accordance with the following schedule and
issued by the head of the Fire Department:
(1) I gallons to 500 gallons $25.00
(2) 501 gallons to 1,000 gallons $40.00
(3) 1,001 gallons to 1,500 gallons $50.00
(4) 1,501 gallons to 5,000 gallons 575.00
(5) 5,001 gallons to 10,000 gallons S100.00
(e)
The annual fees to be charged for licenses for the keeping or storing of hazardous
materials, including crude petroleum or any of its products in building or structure or in
any underground or above ground tank for business or conuuercial purposes shall be in
accordance with the following schedule and granted by the Licensing Board and issued
by the Town Clerk:
(I) 10,001 gallons to 20,000 gallons $200.00
(2) 20,001 gallons to 30,000 gallons $250.00
(3) 30,001 gallons to 40,000 gallons S300.00
(4) 40,001 gallons to 50,000 gallons $350.00
(5) 50,001 gallons to 60,000 gallons $400.00

Chapter IX of the General Ordinances of the City known as the Town of Watertown entitled Fire
Regulations is amended to read:
To insert a new Section 7 entitled "Fire Prevention Bureau Fee Schedule." This strikes order # R-
94-28 entitled "order increasing fees for permits issued and inspections made by the Fire Prevention Bureau
of the Watertown Fire Department" and in place thereof the following:

Tanks and Containers - installation/removal
Smoke Detector Inspections
Smoke Detector re -inspections
Tar Kettle and flame or heat producing devices
Blasting permit
Propane gas heater/construction site
Propane gas cylinder/100 lbs. or more
Gun powder/smokeless/black
Acetylene Torch
Tenting
Welding & Cutting
Hoods & Ducts
Suppression Systems
Modification of Storage Facility
Display of Automobiles in covered building
Fire Protection Equip-Systems/Alarms, Sprinklers
INSPECTIONS
Nursing/Convalescent Homes - under 25 Beds
Nursing/Convalescent Homes - 26-100 Beds
Motels/Hotels
Master Box - commercial, industrial, private bldg.
