I.~ . Present; Trustees Tweedy, Rice, Skelton, Murray anal Greenamyer. Absent: None City Engineer ~~~iiller was present. The P~Zinutes of the previous meeting was read and approved as read. The time having arrived for the opening of bids ~i'or the installation of ;lectric Motor at `tell No. 3, City of Lyny~~ood. It ~.,, was moved by @rustee 2~r~urray and seconded by Trustee Rice that the bids be opened. The Notion wa:~ carried and so ordered. The following firms submitted bids: ` R. E. r~?Ialey & Lynwood Electric Co. It was moved by 't'rustee l~iurray and seconded b~,Y Trustee Skel- ton that the above bids be referred to the ;eater Commissioner and stater Superintendent far checking. The }potion was carried and so or- dered. A letter inviting the City Officials to a meeting of the State Street Improvement Association to be held Friday October 21st, was read and ordered filed. A communication from A . C. ~d isegarver re <a uest ing the Board to take some action regarding the zoning of State Street for business, was read. It was moved by Trustee Skelton and seconded by 'I'rust~e ~:~urray that the Clerk be requested to write the security Trust ~ Savings Bank regarding changing the restrictions in the district mentioned above . ~,:iotion was carried and so ordered. A petition calling upon the Board of Trustees to obtain jur- is diction and stare the necessary proceedings for the opening and improv- ing of Century Boulevard from Alameda to Atlantic, was read. Fisher representing the Drainage Comstruetion Company requested a decision of the Board regardin~~ the resurface ng of the Streets by sewer contractors . Aftc,r some discusti ion, he was inforr~led that the Board would render a decision to the Contractor tednesday October the 19th. Ordinance No. 92, Regulating Sanitary Condition within or surrounding Markets, Shops, Groceries, Restaurants and other places, ,, where mod and drink are prepared in the City of Lynwood, was read for the second time. I t was moved by Trustee mice and seconded by Trustee r~'!`urray that same be accepted as read the second time and passed to the third reading. Roll Call : Ayes : Trustees Tweedy, Ske Alton, l~,Turray, Rice and Greenamyer. Noes : None . Ordinance No. 93, ~~n Ordinannce providing for Collection of ~„ Garbage in the City of Lynwood under City Contract, was read for the second time. I t was moved by `i~rustee Tweedy and seconded by Trustee Ske lion that same be accepted as read the second time and passed to the third reading. Roll Call: Ayes : Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Rice, l+~urray and Greenamyex. Noes : None . It was moved by 't'rustee ?ice and seconded by Trustee hurray that the rules be suspended and Ordinance No. 93 be brought up for the third reading. Motion was carried and so ordered. Ordinance No• 93, 8rititled as above, was read for the third Roll Cail: Ayes: Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Nice, T~.~urray and Greenamyer. Noes • None . Resolution No. 408, Declaring Assessment in regard to ~`,'eed Abatement, was read. It was moved by Trustee Rice and seconded by Trus- tee Tvreedy that same be adopted Ro 11 Call : Ayes.: Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Rico, l.gta.rray and Greenamyer. Noes.: None . It was moved by ,.rustee Skelton and seconded by Trustee Tweedy that the City Clerk be instructed to write J .
